The Echéa Quartet wins the Royal Over-Seas League String Ensemble Competition

The Echéa Quartet have won first prize with their programme of Brahms and Schubert, together with movements from Hungarian composer György Kurtág’s Officium Breve in memoriam Andreae Szervanszky.

The Quartet, founded in 2017 at the Royal Academy of Music, is led by Rosa Hartley who is a former beneficiary of a Munster Trust Award in 2017/18.
