BBC SINGERS CONDUCTOR FELLOWSHIP
Aimed at young conductors (of professional standard and ambitions). Open to recent graduates or postgraduate students, based in London or able to work here. Closing date April.

BBC YOUNG MUSICIANS
Open to applicants under 28 on 1 January. Deadline for entries June. Will accept applications for a young conductors workshop. 6 applicants will be chosen to take part in a workshop with the BBc Philharmonic and its principal conductor. 3 Conductors will then be chosen to take part in a concert with the BBC Philharmonic at the Bridgewater Hall & one will be chosen to become the orchestra's assistant conductor for the 2002/03 season.

BOB HARDING BURSARY
Opportunity for young conductor to assist in and observe rehearsals and concerts of Havant Symphony Orchestra throughout a season. Must be under age 30, on advanced course and resident in UK. Travel and subsistence grant up to £350. Selection by audition, open to candidates nominated by London music colleges. Apply by June each year.
